Starting from the Henrich-Habermas controversy in the 1980s, this paperdiscusses the possibility of keeping an open space for metaphysics in nowadaysphilosophy, having in mind the way through which Kant reformulated this field ofknowledge. Trying to take Kant’s intention seriously, I base myself on the reflectionsof Dieter Henrich himself, and on those of Christian Thies, to present in abroad view a possible design for this new kind of metaphysics.Downloads
