In this interview, Naine Terena describes her curatorial experience in the organization of the indigenous art exhibition Véxoa: nós sabemos, shown at the Pinacoteca of São Paulo between October 2020 and March 2021, in the height of the covid-19 pandemic. The indigenous artist and curator reflects on the place of the Contemporaneous Indigenous Art in the artistic current scene, the historical invisibility of the indigenous art as an effect of the colonial process, and the intrinsic connections between art and politics.
