In this project, a methodology to construct a geomagnetic atlas for Pernambuco-Brazil and its regional divisions is elaborata. The Atlas is constituted by a set of information on space and time called geomagnetic elements. The structure of the work is capable of describing the Magnetic Field of all Terrestrial places, of the whole state’s surface. The resulted mathematical data were displayed in form of colored maps of isolines; relative graphs to the variations of the field in specific areas; graphs with referring historical variations at last the 100 years. The maps
describe, with precision, the intensity, direction and the variations of the components of the Terrestrial Magnetic Field of each city of the State. This work stands out the applications of this theme information on diverse areas of scientific researchs related to the study of the environment; mainly in areas related to the
animal magnetism and it relation with state’s ecosystem. It includes studies in the Geophysics area and others earth sciences; the implications on the sun physics and the its interferences in the atmospheric environment. We also study the implications of the Terrestrial Magnetic Field on alterations at the communications of satellites and his interferences over the high atmosphere.
