LIMIARIZAÇÃO AUTOMÁTICA DE IMAGENS DIGITAIS

Abstract

Este trabalho aborda o problema de limiarização automática de imagens digitais. São discutidos dois métodos denominados globais, nos quais um único valor de limiar é definido para toda a imagem. Após vários testes definiu-se uma estratégia que limita o cálculo do limiar a uma pequena janela local e a aplicação deste limiar é feita em uma janela ainda menor (no centro da primeira janela). No cálculo do limiar local podem ser usados os critérios propostos para quaisquer dos métodos globais. Foram implementados os métodos globais, a estratégia local e realizados experimentos com imagens padrão e com imagens aéreas reais. Os resultados obtidos são apresentados, bem como algumas conclusões e recomendações.
