Abstract
By means of the ROCK42 model which wasdeveloped to determine the solar radiation pressure force on GPS satellites it is possible to estimate the solar pressure coefficient from tracking data. This paper shows a strategy to evaluate such coefficient, based on launching date. The strategy is checked by orbit propagation of the GPS satellites.
