Geodesic Detection to Control the Foundation Settlings of a Large Structure Building
Main Article Content
Abstract
The geodesic detection of the foundation deformability can be restricted to the settling measurements. A study of this type involves several professionals, trying to obtain appropriated solutions. The ground on which will be built the future projected becomes the elementary inquiry key, and after the laboratory and field assays it remains in the geotechnical parameters, because it presents representative variations during the foundation projects. Therefore, it requires monitoring during the execution and after the accomplishment of the foundation. It allows investigating its behavior, according to the theory related to the admissible limits of movement from the settling measurements in the construction. Therefore, it requires geodesy techniques applied to engineering to subsidize the distributed object points measurements in the study area. However, there is few practical works describing the methodology to be adopted for such cases using optical instruments. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to present an appropriated methodology based on a real case of civil construction carried out in a direct foundation, according to the NBR 6122/96 (Brazilian Norm) to present the settlings behavior during the time of its construction and the graphical interpretation of the foundation deformability.
