There are no submission fees.
A voluntary charge applies to papers accepted after peer review to cover the cost of copyediting and typesetting. The amount as of 2022 is 400 BRL (Brazilian real), approximately 100 USD (U.S. dollars). Authors without access to funding for publication are exempt from the charge upon declaration. Authors are encouraged to check funding potentially available from their affiliated organizations, research grant agencies, and supporting foundations.
Special cases (reviews, etc.) where articles with more pages are submitted and approved will be evaluated by the BCG Editorial Board on a case-by-case basis
