Kantianismo radical negro

Este ensaio tenta desenvolver um “kantianismo radical negro” – isto é, um kantianismo informado pela experiência negra na modernidade. Depois de analisar brevemente as apropriações socialistas e feministas de Kant, defendo que uma apropriação radical negra análoga deveria se basear na ontologia social distinta e visão do Estado associadas à tradição radical negra. Na ética, isto significaria trabalhar com uma ontologia social (consciente de cor em vez de daltônica) de pessoas brancas e subpessoas negras e depois perguntar o que o respeito por si mesmo e pelos outros exigiria nessas circunstâncias. Na filosofia política, significaria enquadrar o Estado como um Rassenstaat (um Estado racial) e depois perguntar quais medidas de justiça corretiva seriam necessárias para concretizar o Rechtsstaat [Estado de Direito] ideal.
