Vida e morte na filosofia prática de Kant: elementos para uma análise do aborto, a partir da Fundamentação e da Doutrina da virtude

Kant não tratou diretamente da questão do aborto. Não obstante, vários autores analisam o aborto, a partir da filosofia prática kantiana. Hare e Gensler argumentaram que o aborto seria incompatível com o imperativo categórico, pois a sua máxima não poderia ser universalizada. Denis, por seu turno, movimenta o conceito de dever para consigo e conclui que o aborto é moralmente problemático, contudo, em alguns casos, ele seria não somente permissível como até mesmo requerido. O presente estudo pretende apresentar os limites do tratamento da questão do aborto, tendo como base a Fundamentação e a Doutrina da virtude, ao mesmo tempo em que pretende apontar para o caminho mais promissor de isso ser feito pelo viés da Doutrina do Direito
