MATURAÇÃO DO Penaeus paulensis

This work describes the maturation process of females of Penaeus paulensis in the laboratory aiming the production of post-larvae in commercial scale. The applied methodology is based on induced spawning, feeding behaviour of adults shrimps in natural conditions and photoperiodism. Part of the post-larvae and juvenales produced by the Centro de Biologia Marinha is being released in the Bay of Paranaguá to attend a repopulation program, part is being distributed to private cultivators of Paranaguá and others states of our Country.
