Abstract

The inquiry of the structure physicist-chemistry of the water column in the located fixed point in the zone of maximum turbidy of the Estuarine Complex of Paranaguá evaluated the water through the conventional parameters. pH suffered low variation, the Co2 saturation kept high indices of 125 – 992%, clorofila a it - 0,62 up to 6,83  g.dm-3, seston of 2,82 the 117,09 mg.dm-3 and for the dissolved oxygen 5.61 to 8,10 mg.dm-3. The dissolved inorgânics nutrients had presented the following concentrations: fosfato of 0,33 to 3,28  mmol.dm-3, silicate 7,14 to 70.41 mmol.dm-3, nitrate varied of 0,03 up to 34,78   mmol.dm-3, the nitrito of 0 to 1,12 mmol.dm-3 and the ammoniac nitrogen of 0,08  to 7,95  mmol.dm-3. The total organic phosphoro exhibited values the 4,73 to 0,33 mmol.dm-3 whereas the total  organic nitrogen stay at 8,28 to 28,66 mmol.dm-3. In general way these results quality water according to BRICKER (2003) and CARMOUZE (1994) is good, meeting in the limits tracings for these authors. The concentrations of aggregates revealed bigger in the campaigns of spring tide of two studied periods (rainy and dry) 19,2 the 299,5 mg.dm-3, being that the station summer exhibited the resulted greaters due to strong rains that load material proceeding from the rivers. The metallic elements arsenio and cadmium had not been detected in aggregates therefore the detention limit were not enough sensible. The work showed that the main one half of transport of metallic contaminantes is the material particulated in suspension.
