Abstract

Este estudo preenche uma lacuna na teoria econômica que ignora os prejuízos da mulher na economia. A teoria econômica tradicional não tem dado a devida importância a elaboração de modelos econômicos com discriminação de gênero, como a sobre taxação e subremuneração feminina (Fernandez; Silva, 2024; Fernandez, 2018). O objetivo dessa pesquisa é elaborar um modelo que explicite a dupla discriminação econômica de gênero e o impacto no bem-estar das mulheres. Usando uma modelagem de escolhas individuais por gênero, condicionada a sobretaxação do consumo e sua sub remuneração feminina, é possível explicitar um duplo ônus da discriminação econômica das mulheres.
