Abstract

 Ante o duplo pano de fundo da história de recepção e da autointerpretação da Fundação de toda a doutrina da ciência, o objetivo das reflexões que se seguem é examinar a grandeza e os limites do texto mais famoso e influente de Fichte – justamente a exposição impressa do doutrina da ciência de 1794/95 –, no contexto da própria avaliação de Fichte tanto da própria obra quanto do desenvolvimento da doutrina da ciência. Além da questão das diferenças doutrinárias e das modificações metodológicas nas sucessivas exposições da doutrina da ciência, deve ser dada especial atenção à reflexão meta-filosófica de Fichte sobre a forma da teoria e a figura comunicativa da doutrina da ciência.

Author Biography

Günter Zöller, Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München (LMU)

Günter Zöller is Professor of Philosophy (Emeritus) at the University of Munich. He studied Philosophy, Romance Languages, Comparative Literature and Art History at the University of Bonn, Germany, the École normale supérieure, Paris, France, and Brown University, Providence, U.S.A. He has held fellowships from the German National Research Foundation, the National Endowment for the Humanities, Washington, D.C, the Canadian Research Council, and the Australian Research Council. He has been a Visiting Professor at Princeton University, Seoul National University, Emory University, McGill University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the University of Bologna, Venice International University, and Huanzhong University of Science and Technology (Wuhan, P. R. China) and has held research appointments at Brown University, Queen’s College, Oxford, the University of Tübingen, Harvard University. and the École normale supérieure, Paris. His main areas of research and teaching are Kant, German idealism and political philosophy, on which he has authored, edited and coedited 37 books and published some 430 articles in journals, essay collections, and reference works in 18 languages worldwide as well as supervised 45 doctoral dissertations and 30 M.A. and Master‘s theses. His former students hold academic positions in Europe, North and South America, East Asia, as well as West and South Africa.
