DETERMINAÇÃO DE DESNÍVEIS POR GPS PARA APLICAÇÕES EM ENGENHARIA ATRAVÉS DA DEFINIÇÃO DOS PARÂMETROS DE UM GEÓIDE LOCAL

Abstract

Com a evolução tecnológica, o franco desenvolvimento da Geodésia Satelital, a redução dos custos de equipamentos, de custos operacionais, da rapidez no fornecimento dos resultados e precisão compatível, o GPS ganhou definitivamente seu espaço na área de levantamentos geodésicos e topográficos tradicionais. Dentro desta ótica, o nosso trabalho procura contribuir com informações relativas ao reconhecimento, rastreamento, cálculo e ajustamento de observações GPS sobre Referências de Nível (RNs), objetivando a determinação do modelo geoidal local, cuja utilização propõe técnicas de determinação de altitudes ortométricas ou diferenças de alturas por GPS e que possam ser aplicadas na engenharia.

Abstract

With the technological evolution, the development of Satellite Geodesy, the reduction of equipment and operational cost, as well as the rapidness of results and an accuracy comparable to classical techniques, the GPS definitly will take its space in geodetic work and in classical topography. From this point of view the presented thesis gives information on reconnaissance, observation techniques, processing and adjustment of GPS observtion on levelling marks (RN) from the National Levelling Network in Pernambuco. The objective of this investigation is to determine a local geoidal model to be utilized in the technical determination of orthometric heights or height differences by GPS for the use in Engineering projects.
