Abstract

O objetivo do presente trabalho é apresentar como está a aplicação das técnicas da Pesquisa Operacional no setor industrial de mineração. Para isso, foi realizado um estudo bibliométrico, onde foram analisados artigos publicados em periódicos e congressos nacionais e internacionais, no período de 2006 a 2016. Através da seleção dos artigos, foram feitos fichamentos individuais para proceder à análise qualitativa dos mesmos. Posteriormente, a análise quantitativa foi gerada e exposta neste trabalho, onde se discutem os principais achados sobre a temática e as principais lacunas existentes. Como principais resultados, cita-se a preferência de aplicação de técnicas exatas que resultam em solução ótima do problema, mas também é apresentado que não se pode afirmar qual das ferramentas é mais eficiente, uma vez que soluções semelhantes para o mesmo problema são encontradas utilizando-se metodologias distintas.
