Abstract

Este artigo trata de pesquisa aplicada, descritiva e explicativa, expresso por um estudo de caso para análise do cenário do transporte aéreo nacional. Para tanto, aplicam-se três métodos econométricos para previsão de demanda de carga e de passageiros que permitam extrapolar para cenário posterior à pandemia do COVID-19. Utilizaram-se 39 registros mensais entre 2019 até 2022 que permitem gerar série histórica, base da análise econométrica. Os métodos foram comparados quanto aos valores de erro absoluto médio percentual e de viés da previsão. Para o movimento de passageiros o método mais adequado é o de Suavização Exponencial Simples; enquanto para cargas, o indicado é o de Holt. Os resultados apontam que os níveis do transporte de passageiros não conseguirão alcançar o pico de 2019 em 24 meses; para cargas, há recuperação nos registros anotados, indicando que o futuro o crescimento tende a aumentar, ultrapassando os patamares de 2019.
