APLICAÇÃO DO SMED PARA REDUÇÃO DO TEMPO DE SET UP EM UMA MÁQUINA INJETORA DE PLÁSTICOS

Este trabalho apresenta um estudo de caso sobre a aplicação da ferramenta Troca Rápida de Ferramentas (TRF) no processo de injeção de plástico de uma indústria no estado de Santa Catarina. O objetivo desse trabalho é propor a aplicação da metodologia TRF para a redução do tempo de set up, durante a troca de moldes em uma injetora, analisando as atividades do processo de set up da empresa, foram observados problemas durante sua execução, foi possível identificar e mapear os tipos de set ups internos e externos, o que resultou na diminuição dos tempos de preparação dos equipamentos utilizando o método de Shingo (1985), foi elaborado e padronizado um novo processo de set up para a realização da troca de moldes em uma injetora, o que possibilitou a redução de cerca de 70% no tempo de preparação das máquinas.
