Abstract

Em tempos de acirrada concorrência, as empresas buscam meios para se diferenciar colocando em pauta a melhoria da qualidade de seus serviços. Este trabalho é resultado de um estudo desenvolvido em uma empresa distribuidora de doces que tem como objetivo propor a implantação do programa 5s, associado às etapas do ciclo PDCA para a melhoria na qualidade dos serviços prestados. Foi realizado um diagnóstico da empresa através de observação direta e registro por fotografias, onde foram descritos os principais problemas que afetam a produtividade dos funcionários, a fim de elaborar o planejamento e sugerir o plano de ação da execução, verificação e intervenção. Comprovou-se assim que o ciclo PDCA é uma importante metodologia auxiliadora no planejamento e implantação do programa 5s que visa a melhoria contínua como estratégia de crescimento.
