Neste artigo é apresentado um método e um programa computacional para resolver o problema do caixeiro viajante (PCV). O objetivo é minimizar a distância percorrida no transporte das frutas colhidas para processamento numa indústria de suco de frutas. O programa correspondente resolve o problema usando o suplemento Evolutionary do Microsoft-Excel-Solver, que tem um algoritmo genético pré-programado, e foi testado para efetuar o recolhimento das frutas colhidas no Brasil e Gana.
