Abstract

With the advent and recent popularization of the use of drones in geosciences, they have gained prominence due to their ability to obtain information in areas of difficult access, in addition to enabling the generation of extremely detailed models of large outcrops in an agile and fast manner. The present study involved the investigation and imaging of three outcrops, located in the southern part of the Paranaguá Terrane, with emphasis on the detailed cartography of their lithological and structural aspects. Being composed of gneiss, granitoids, schists and granofels, it was possible to construct detailed maps of their spatial arrangements, with subsequent integration of structural data obtained from the field, such as shear zones, fractures and migmatite/intrusive features. The use of cartographic products derived from the use of drones helped to contextualize the structures observed with the tectonic scenario of the studied sites, enabling the correlation of these features with the geological framework observed at broader scales.
