Detection of on-line deformation by means of an measuring system-based theodolites 3D – Verification of measuring system

ANDRÉA DE SEIXAS

Abstract

In this paper a measurement system composed of two theodolites electronic motor (robot measurement in a spherical coordinate system) interconnected through a transmission of data online with computer will be presented. The measurement
system consists of a theodolite pointer and a theodolite identifier. This type of measurement system belongs to the fourth hierarchy of automation called System of measurement with automatic adjustment of independent programs. The sensors of direction, change of direction, distance and variation of distance are automatically placed through the axes of movement.  The requirements of the quality of construction in the automotive industry and aviation accelerate the development of new systems and new three-dimensional methods, which enables automatic determination of points of an object and its analysis in the context of deformation. The three-dimensional reconstruction of objects or surfaces requires, depending on
the object, a minimum amount of points, which is abstained and is determined by means of an interpolation, the precise form and characteristic of the object. The use of laser to activate the signaling of a point-object, combined with the measurement
of direction, then enable the determination of objects or surfaces, including also the dangerous areas, and even where it would be impossible for placement of marks (targets ) on the object. As the main points being presented, have: presentation of a measurement system based on Theodolites, constituents of a system for 3D automatic measuring with projections of targets on the object; the approach of iterative methods used as solutions to the method of grid lines; beyond the description of the procedure employed for the verification of the 3D measurement system when the method conception, following the brief presentation of the results achieved through the measurement system used for this work.
